The Canon Photography Group (CPG) is a community of people who use one of the Canon Digital Cameras. Our Forums allow you to share your photos, learn new digital photography tips, and get help with your camera. Whether you just got a Canon digital camera, have had one for a couple years, or are considering purchasing one, we hope you find this group to be an enlightening and invaluable resource. The CPG was orignally chartered as the Powershot A10/A20 Users Group on November 23rd, 2001 by Oguzhan Simsek on Yahoo Groups. The group was created in response to the first affordable A-Series Powershot Camera's Canon released. The Yahoo Group still exists and can be found at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CanonA10_A20/ and is still somewhat active; in fact some users frequent both sites. On January 31st, 2002 with about 150 active participants we began using a new message board that was better suited to organizing topics and provided more features, the result of which is what you see here today. Currently we have over 1,000 registered members spread out across the globe.
